A New Year’s State Of Mind

Welcome to 2016, and our beautiful new website! Like us, it’s sleek, sexy, and packed with user-friendly features. You can now navigate by homepage, category, search, or read on your mobile device. It’s a work in progress, but we couldn’t wait to share.

Why look forward to a new year?
Despite being the same assholes we were last year, the New Year’s slate is clean and unblemished. There’s an unmistakable feeling of hope, and a chance to shake off the old shit. We’re filled with untapped potential…and cheese. Our wine glasses are infinitely full.

What does 2016 hold for us?
On a personal level, Lori is returning to work at Derm.ca, where she was part of their team for four years before starting the blog. Val is going to use her powers for good by focusing on volunteer work and giving back.

What’s in store for the blog?
As well as our regular posts, Val, who’s famous for her killer playlists will be sharing her favourites. We have a restaurant review with bloggers A Couple of Couples, and we’ll be incorporating how-to tutorial videos like shaping your eyebrows, with our resident expert Lori.

We strongly believe you don’t meet people by accident. They’re meant to cross our path for a reason. YOU really matter to us. We look forward to kicking off more Ladies Night events in the new year. Stay tuned to the blog for dates and locations, because girls just wanna have fun.

Puberty’s over. We’re blossoming, evolving, and ready to move to the next level. Entertaining the troops for the past two years has been a huge learning curve. We still don’t know exactly where we’re headed, but we’re excited to be on our way!

Thanks to Zakir Hussein of Enerknight for building our beautiful website.
